Very fun puzzle!May 27, 2008 My 5-year-old son has loads of fun putting this puzzle together and then turning off the lights to see it glow. Puzzles are so good for eye-hand coordination as well as working on concentration.
The perfect puzzle.Apr 28, 2008 A practically perfect puzzle for youngsters just beginning to assemble larger puzzles. The very definite areas of the puzzle make sharing easy, and the glow-in-the-dark puzzle is delightful when finished. The puzzle itself is sturdy and will withstand hours of play. My grandchildren, ages 3 and 5, and I had a delightful time playing with this puzzle!
Beautiful puzzle; perfect for a Thomas fan!Apr 28, 2008 My son is five, and he's got all the Thomas the Tank Engine gear. He cycled through the wooden trains and now he's an avid collector of the Take Along series. He has been delighted with the two Thomas puzzles I bought him -- Thomas at the Carnival and Thomas' Midnight Ride. He put this puzzle together pretty quickly from the outset -- it took about 10 minutes. But he enjoys breaking it down and putting it together time and again. He brought it for show and tell at his school, and it was a big hit with the other kids, too. We highly recommend this for other people.

A great family experience Feb 24, 2008 The puzzle was a gift for our grandson. He's four years old and had never worked on a puzzle larger than 25 or so pieces. At 100 pieces, he had a challenge - and he's also a Thomas the Train fan, so he was really thrilled to have the puzzle. The main goal of the gift was to provide a meaningful challenge for adult and child. This is not a simple puzzle where the adult can do it in 5 minutes while the child watches. At 100 pieces, there is just enough difficulty for the parents and child to spend a few happy hours putting it together. Then, to our grandson's delight, the finished picture glowed in the dark. We were impressed with the quality of the puzzle - clearly developed by people who understand children. Many benefits: quality time with parents, develop motor skills, and just plain fun. No electronics, no automation. We're definitely going to buy another one for him soon.
