 A whole lot of puzzle!Jun 30, 2008
Great set of puzzles. Right now our 2.5 year old matches on the picture not on the word letters, but he still enjoys it. It is also good because it uses lower case letters instead of upper case so he is getting more practice with the less familiar letters. The product contains a number of pictures and words on both the front and back of the pieces so the number of puzzles can be quite overwhelming. We just take a few out at a time for play. And a slight drawback is that if the whole puzzle is dumped out, it can only be stored by putting them all back together, which can take awhile. Otherwise, it is a great toy and he will love to start putting the words together when he gets a little older.

I purchased this set for my son at a teachers educational store. I couldn't believe how nice this was when I opened it for the first time. If you buy this for your first child, you will have it for your 2nd and 3rd child, and maybe even your grandchildren if you store this away properly. I also caught my son sounding out the word map after piecing the word together when he was three years old. It's great for introducing the first few reading words.
